We believe that baptism is a public declaration of faith and new life in Jesus Christ.
It is a public testimony of an inner transformation.
If you would like to be baptized, please register below. Once we have a group of people who want to be baptized, we will be scheduling a date to do so.
Our faith should be personal, but not private – and that’s what water baptism is all about, making your faith public. When a believer is baptized, he or she is giving a public testimony of their faith in Jesus – in the presence of others and in the presence of the church as a whole.
1. You do it… because you have decided to follow Jesus’ example.
(Matthew 3:16; Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 1:15; John 3:23; Acts 8:38-39; Romans 6:1-4)
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37-38; Acts 2:41; Colossians 2:11-12)
(Acts 2:41; Acts 2:42; Acts 2:44-45; Acts 2:46)
When you are baptized, we briefly immerse you in water, this symbolizes that your sins have been washed away – it is as if you are buried with Jesus Christ, and then when you come out of the water, it shows that you have risen from the dead with Christ. Through your faith in Jesus you have a new life. The old you has passed away and you have become a new person.
Getting baptized is important, but not because it saves you. God’s grace through faith in Jesus is what saves you. Getting baptized is about telling the world about the change that has already happened inside you. If you’ve decided to get baptized, it’s time to celebrate! Be sure to invite your friends and family to celebrate with you.
Whether you have recently made a decision to follow Christ or you made this decision years ago, we are ready to help you take that next step. If you have questions or would like to talk to someone, simply fill out this registration form.
